Upton Jr. Launch is Back:

I wrote in my blog (Dec 2013) about BJ Upton Jr's Failure to Launch. His exaggerated bat tilt was a timing nightmare. I wrote "If he could find the same pre-swing movement he had in 2012 he will be more successful." Last nights walk-off home run is on the right. When bat tilt or hitch is excessive it will create tremendous bat speed that equal moon shots in BP, but will not translate at this level. I call the line that Bj Upton Jr is at the "Javier Baez Line". Cross this line in your tilt and you will get Javier Baez like results...Occasional bomb with tremendous bat speed, but crazy strike out rates that will force you out of the game. Welcome back Upton Jr!
